Pay the Montana Renewal Charge: Montana requires a $20 renewal payment through TAP. This amount covers state processing only and does not include the physician appointment or the cost of cannabis purchased from a dispensary.
Use a Temporary Card When Available: Once the renewal application has been submitted, the Cannabis Control Division may provide a temporary printable card through the portal. Helena patients can use the temporary documentation while awaiting the permanent card, which may take up to six weeks to arrive.
